Your Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care needs and responses.
• Coordinate care with patients, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed or per protocol.
• Evaluate patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare team members.
• Provide leadership and supervision to LPNs and non-licensed staff.
• Participate in orientation and education of new staff and students.
• Engage in continuing education and quality improvement activities.
• Maintain positive communication with patients and team members.
Qualifications:
• Valid State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License or Graduate Nurse Permit required.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program. ADN required, with expectation of BSN completion within five years of hire.
