The Director SPECIFICALLY has determined that nurses who can work on an "AS-Needed" basis are the BEST FIT for the Intake Department. Filling in shifts when regular staff are UNAVAILABLE or when there is HIGH-DEMAND for additional nursing support. Please NOTE that PRN nurses DO NOT have a fixed schedule and can choose when to work (based on the needs/shifts of the Intake Department), providing FLEXIBILITY in their employment.*** Shifts may primarily be nights, weekends and/or evenings. Springwoods Behavioral Health is an affiliated 80-bed acute care behavioral health facility located in Northwest Arkansas and has been providing quality health care to the residents Northwest Arkansas since 2009. The hospital provides 24-hour acute care behavioral health services. Job Requirements: Licenses or Certifications: Current licensure and registration by the Arkansas Board of Nurse Examiners as a Registered Nurse. Current CPR, Verbal De-escalation, and Handle with Care certifications, or must obtain within 14-days of hire. Successful completion of the American Nursing Association Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse program with credentialing is preferred. Total education, vocational training and experience: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Three (3) years experience within the behavioral health field preferred or an equivalent combination of related education and experience preferred.
