Intake Nurse Manager Position Summary:
The Intake Nurse Manager provides oversight and accountability for the Intake Department by providing clinical leadership and coordination of MOT and clinical operations. As a clinician this position provides direction and training to departmental staff in the provision of psychiatric assessments, including clinical evaluations and crisis intervention.
Intake Nurse Manager Key Responsibilities Include:
• Assist the Director of Admissions with management of financial operations of the department; to include FTE management and cost controls.
• Ensure that all departmental staff are adequately trained
• Audit patient assessments, records/admits monthly ensuring appropriate documentation for criteria.
• Provide supervision and direction to department staff ensuring alignment with organizational goals, while promoting high-quality care delivery in accordance with established Standards of Care and Practice.
• Assist with recruitment and interviewing potential staff.
• Continually evaluate the activities, morale, and interpersonal relationships of the program staff and promote methods to improve these areas.
• Assist in ensuring all program staff are evaluated according to personnel policies.
Intake Nurse Manager Shift:
Monday–Friday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Qualifications
Position Requirements:
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing with Bachelor's Degree in nursing required.
Experience: Minimum of three years nursing experience and two years of supervisory or management experience
Licensure: Current RN license in the state of Texas
Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
