Travel RN – ICU Location: Grafton, WI 53024 Start Date: February 9 Contract: 13 weeks (possible extension) Payrate: $2,398-$2,614 weekly (includes taxable and non-taxable pay) Shift: 12-Hour Nights (36 hrs/week) Schedule: Friday / Saturday / Sunday | 19:30–07:00 Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend On Call / Call Back: None Holidays: As needed Floating: Rare (only if census dips) Patient Service Area: Central Wisconsin Facility Overview • Level III Trauma Center • Level II NICU • Primary Stroke Center • 136-bed hospital ICU Unit Details • Beds: 17 • RN Ratio: 1:2 (acuity-based) • CNA Ratio: Days 1:8 | Nights 1:17 Patient Population Medical: COVID, Sepsis, ETOH, IVDA, Overdose, SI, Delirium, GIB, Stroke (TPA), ARF Surgical: General surgery, open abdomen, ortho (total joints), ENT, OBGYN Cardiac/Vascular: CABG, valves, fem-pop bypass, AAA, post-cath (radial), amputations No complex neuro; post-TPA/TNK only Required Experience & Skills • Minimum: 3 years ICU experience • Preferred: CRRT (NxStage), fresh hearts • Vent/trach management • Invasive lines (A-line, CVP, Swan) • Chest tubes, drains, foleys • Post-op recovery, post-cath care • Balloon pumps, CVVH, CRRT Certifications • Required: BLS, ACLS. RN License • Preferred: NIHSS Unit Support • Intensivist coverage 24/7 • RT 24/7 • ICU Pharmacist (days) • Unit Secretary (days) • Phlebotomy team • Educator support • Bedside telemetry monitoring Charting & Equipment • EPIC (preferred) • Alaris pumps • Pyxis Floating Expectations • Intermediate units (1:3) • MSU • ED boarding (1:4) • Observation units (1:4) • Travelers float first Orientation • 1-day orientation • Badge, system access, CBLs • Meet & greet with Nurse Manager • Preceptor support for the remainder of the shift Additional Details • Scrubs: Any color (no camo, denim, or hoodies) • Parking: Free
