We’re actively seeking an experienced Trauma ICU Registered Nurse to join a high‑acuity Level I Trauma Center in Tyler, TX. Perfect for seasoned travelers ready to make an impact in a fast‑paced critical care environment.
🕒 Shift: Days | 3×12 (07:00–19:00)
📅 Contract Length: 13 Weeks
💰 Pay Rate: $50/hr
📍 Location: Tyler, Texas
🚫 Not eligible for travelers residing in the following counties:
Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, Morris.
🔥 Position Requirements
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years
• Travel Experience: Required
• Level I Trauma ICU experience: Required
• Charting: EPIC experience required
🩺 Certifications
• Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred: PALS, TNCC
🧑 ⚕️ Unit Details
• Unit: Trauma ICU
• Beds: 16
• Rooms: 14
• Patient Ratios: 1:2
• Float Requirement: ICU, IMC, Tele
• Support Services: Respiratory Therapy, Rapid Response, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy, IV Team, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy
Key Skills:
• Ventilator management
• ICP monitoring
• Interpretation & management of dysrhythmias
• Blood product administration
• Central line care
• CPAP management
• Level I Trauma proficiency
• Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
