Intensive Care Nurse in Balch Springs, TX

We are seeking an ICU Registered Nurse! The ICU RN will be responsible for providing intensive care to patients with life-threatening conditions. The ICU RN will have advanced skills in critical care settings, make quick decisions, and will be compassionate to all patients. An ICU RN monitors vital signs, blood oxygen levels, administer IV Fluids, and communicates effectively to the medical team to modify care plans accordingly.

Shifts Available: Nights

Hours: 12-hour shifts - 7:00 pm to 7:00am

Location: Dallas Regional Medical Center – Mesquite, TX

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:
• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Additional Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
