Intensive Care RN | Alexander, Arkansas in Alexander, AR

An opportunity exists for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide specialized care in a cardiovascular intensive care unit. This contract position involves working closely with patients requiring advanced cardiac monitoring and post-procedural care in a dynamic hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in an 8-bed Cardiovascular ICU.
• Monitor and assess cardiac patients before and after catheterization procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiac rehab and outpatient therapy departments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and monitor vital signs, medication, and treatment plans.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient conditions to ensure safety and effective intervention.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current RN licensure with ICU experience preferred.
• Proficiency in cardiovascular critical care nursing.
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working independently and within a team.

Additional Information:
• This is a contract position.
• Position requires the candidate to be located more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify as travel.
