Job Description
Location:

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage critically ill patients primarily in a 30-bed ICU unit focusing on neuro and trauma care
• Deliver high-quality nursing care including rapid intubation, chest tube management, and external ventricular drain (EVD) monitoring
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adjust care plans based on patient acuity and fluctuating demands
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Lenet beds and GE monitors efficiently in compliance with unit protocols
• Maintain documentation using Meditech electronic medical records system
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current RN licensure with ICU experience in neuro or trauma care strongly preferred
• Neuro certification is a plus and will be considered favorably
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient assignments during shifts
• Demonstrated proficiency in critical care procedures such as intubation and chest tube care
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, flexible approach to patient care
Schedule & Contract Details:
• Day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Contract position with potential for extensions based on performance and unit needs
