A nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with critical care experience to provide high-quality care in an intensive care setting. This contract position is based in Lorain, OH, offering a unique role with varied responsibilities across inpatient areas. Schedule: • Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM • Every other weekend and holiday rotation Responsibilities: • Provide patient-centered care in ICU, Stepdown, and Med/Surg units. • Manage patient load with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. • Float between inpatient areas at two medical centers to meet staffing needs. • Monitor and assess patient condition, implement nursing care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards in all care activities. Qualifications: • Valid RN licensure with critical care (ICU) experience required. • Ability to provide care across multiple inpatient units, including Stepdown and Med/Surg. • Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills. • Willingness to float between medical centers as needed. • Commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence-based patient care.
