
Intensive Care RN | Sparks, Nevada in Reno, NV
Job Description
Location: Sparks, NV
Schedule & Hours:
• Dayshift
• 12-hour shifts
• Must be available weekends
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients, including monitoring and managing complex conditions
• Float between units as needed to support patient care demands
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all licensing and credentialing requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
• Active RN license with ICU nursing experience
• Ability and flexibility to float across units
• Availability to work a full schedule through the end of January and first week of February is highly preferred
• Current certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as required
• Up-to-date immunizations or appropriate attestations (MMR, Varicella)
• Negative TB test results
• Successful completion of drug screening and background check
Contract Details:
• Position begins January 17
• Duration approximately 26 weeks (per diem availability applicable)
• Minimum compliance requirements must be met prior to starting; full compliance profile to be completed within two weeks of start
