Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse - Reno, NV in Golden Valley, NV

An opportunity is available for a registered nurse specializing in intensive care to support critical care patients. This role requires dedication to providing compassionate and expert nursing care in a fast-paced ICU setting, working day shifts in 12-hour blocks. The position starts mid-January and is on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, collaborating with healthcare teams, and ensuring adherence to protocols for patient safety. Weekend availability is essential, and preference is given to candidates able to commit to a full schedule through early February.

Qualifications and experience desired:
• Active registered nurse license with ICU experience
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP as applicable
• Ability to meet vaccination compliance requirements, including MMR and Varicella
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Schedule:
• 12-hour day shifts
• Weekend work required
