
Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse in Birmingham, MO
Job Description
As an RN in the ICU, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care. You will collaborate with medical providers and other team members to ensure individualized and compassionate care tailored to each patient's needs. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive care, executing orders from medical providers and documenting care in patient medical records efficiently.
• Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects, ensuring clarity through effective communication.
• Support patients and families with non-medicinal follow-up measures, such as healthy lifestyle changes and self-management techniques.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and meet evidence-based practices.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and manage holistic treatment plans for recovery.
Qualifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification to be obtained within 1 year of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification to be obtained within 1 year of employment.
