ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Contract Pay Rate: $70/hour Schedule: Day Shift | 3x12s Job Type: Full-Time Contract Setting: ICU | Acute Care Hospital Overview A high-acuity hospital is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a full-time contract role on the day shift. This position is ideal for a confident critical care RN who is comfortable managing complex, unstable patients in a fast-paced ICU environment and brings strong trauma-center experience to the table. Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients • Manage and monitor patients requiring CRRT, mechanical ventilation, and invasive monitoring • Titrate critical care medications and manage continuous drips per protocol • Care for patients with ventilators, tracheostomies, gastrostomy tubes, and arterial lines • Perform ongoing patient assessments and respond rapidly to changes in condition • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record Required Certifications & Licensure • Active NY RN license • TCAR • BLS • ACLS • PALS • AHA Stroke Certification Required Skills & Experience • 3–5 years of ICU experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center • Strong competency with CRRT machine operation • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) • Experience managing ventilators, tracheostomies, and gastrostomy tubes • Proficiency in medication titration and arterial line management • Excellent clinical judgment and ability to work independently in high-acuity situations Why This Role This is a well-structured, full-time ICU contract offering strong hourly pay, consistent day shifts, and the opportunity to work in a true critical care environment that values experience and clinical confidence. #INDEEDTH Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract Pay: $70.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance • Paid time off • Referral program Application Question(s): • What email and phone number should the employer use to contact you?
