We are seeking a dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (GN, RN) to be part of our skilled nursing team. Charlotte Hungerford Hospital, located at 10115, is a 122-bed, general acute care community hospital in Torrington, Connecticut. As a Registered Nurse, you will: • Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation) to deliver high-quality patient care in the ICU. • Develop and implement tailored education and care plans based on individual patient needs. • Provide essential support and education for patients and their families. • Direct ancillary staff with compassion, using your judgment and understanding of patient needs. • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure a comforting environment sensitive to age-specific needs. • Complete annual competency requirements for your area of responsibility.
