Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse in Berlin, CT
Job Description
Position Summary:
As an Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care through the nursing process. You will coordinate patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team and promptly communicate updates regarding patient conditions, responding effectively to any changes in their medical status. You will apply your knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care for a diverse patient population, while also promoting the nursing profession through supportive interactions with colleagues. You will report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Location: MMH-71 Haynes Street (10627)
Shift Details: Every other weekend and every other holiday.

Education/Certification:
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current licensure in the State of Connecticut.
• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required upon hire or to be obtained during the introductory period. Maintain clinical competency throughout employment.
Competencies:
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
• Basic computer skills are necessary.
