Shift Detail: 36 hours per week, permanent night shift. EOW/EOH Join Hartford HealthCare and contribute to a team where every moment truly matters! We are actively seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) for our Critical Care Nursing Units at Hartford Hospital. We encourage both experienced and new nurses to apply. This role is within the Bliss 11 ICU, a 16-bed Medicine Intensive Care Unit that caters to patients with various complex, acute medical conditions. Our unit utilizes advanced technologies, including CRRT and ECMO, to manage conditions such as respiratory failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, liver and kidney injury/failure, sepsis, and withdrawal from drugs and alcohol. The ICU is staffed 24/7 by a dedicated team comprised of Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, all under the guidance of a Critical Care Pulmonologist. Qualifications • Current Connecticut RN License. • Graduate of an accredited nursing school (BSN Required). • BLS certification by the American Heart Association required before the date of hire. • Preferred: Minimum one year of acute care RN experience. • In exceptional cases, experienced RNs with an ADN/ASN currently pursuing a BSN or MSN may be considered. • New Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply through the Critical Care Graduate Nurse Program.
