Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse in Choctaw, OK
Job Description
As an Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse (IMCU RN), you will provide essential care to patients facing serious health challenges such as diabetes, electrolyte imbalances, renal or liver failure, gastrointestinal issues, blood disorders, cancer, sepsis, respiratory distress, or multi-system organ failure. Your role includes a variety of critical tasks:
• Individually assess each patient's needs and gather vital data, including temperature, blood pressure, and pain levels in line with facility protocols.
• Administer physician-prescribed treatments and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers, advocating for patient welfare.
• Prepare medical equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations and treatments.
Shift: 3x12 Days
