Interventional Radiology (RN) | Arlington Heights, Illinois in Arlington Heights, IL

This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Pain Management and Interventional Radiology at a Level 1 Trauma Center located in Arlington Heights, IL. This contract position offers a structured schedule with five consecutive 8-hour daytime shifts, providing consistent hours and a balanced work-life routine.

Shift Details and Schedule:
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, two weekends per month
• On-call rotation: Assigned weekly, Monday through Friday overnight shifts (12:00 AM to 8:00 AM), and 24-hour coverage on weekends and holidays
• Paid Time Off: Restricted time-off policies include a maximum of 5 days per year with no more than 2 consecutive days, no holidays or weekends off, and no time off adjacent to holidays

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care within the Radiology and Pain departments. Floating between these departments is mandatory to meet facility needs. Staff are required to wear protective lead attire during procedures. Documentation is completed using Cerner.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in relevant specialties
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Registered Nurse licensure valid in the state (pending licenses not accepted)
• Ability and willingness to float within scope between Radiology and Pain Management departments
• Candidates living within 75 miles of Arlington Heights are preferred
