Interventional Radiology RN – Executive Leadership Environment
📍 Bronx, NY 10457
🗓 13-Week Assignment
💰 Travel: $4,800 weekly gross ($120/hr) | Local: $105/hr W2
Shift Options: 12-hour shifts (7a–7:30p or 7p start)
Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 per week
EMR: Allscripts
Orientation: 3 structured shifts with leadership evaluation

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Manage patients through pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases
• Perform IV starts and CT/MRI prep for adult and pediatric patients
• Assist with a wide range of IR procedures, including:
• Vascular embolizations and thrombectomies (INARI, EKOS)
• Biopsies (breast, thyroid, CT-guided, ultrasound-guided)
• Drain placements and fluid removals
• Pain management injections
• Central lines, ports, PICCs, permcaths, and tunneled catheters
• Communicate closely with physicians and mid-levels regarding care plans
• Document using radiology flowsheets and EMR
What We’re Looking For:
• At least 1 year of Interventional Radiology RN experience
• Strong IV skills required
• Active RN license
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (PALS required; pediatric experience not required)
• Critical care background is a plus
Department Highlights:
• 1 dedicated IR suite plus Cath Lab access for vascular cases
• Average 5–8 IR cases per day, plus high-volume CT prep
• Supportive charge nurse who actively helps on the floor
• No weekend, holiday, or night call requirements
Dress Code:
• Royal blue scrubs
• Surgical or disposable scrubs when covering Cath Lab cases
