This opportunity calls for a skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology (IR) to contribute to high-quality patient care in a busy medical environment. Key Responsibilities: • Perform and monitor conscious sedation during interventional radiology procedures. • Accurately document all patient care activities and procedural details. • Collaborate with the Cardiac Cath Lab team, providing support as needed. • Participate equally in on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency response events. • Respond promptly to emergency team assignments as directed by unit management. • Maintain a cooperative and adaptable approach to scheduling with potential for earlier or extended hours. Qualifications and Desired Experience: • Current RN licensure with a focus on Interventional Radiology. • Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience; first-time travelers are not eligible. • Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). • Demonstrated competency in conscious sedation and procedural monitoring. • Ability to respond within 30 minutes when on call. • Flexibility to work a day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, five days a week, with shared call duties twice per week and every other weekend.
