An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse specialized in Interventional Radiology to provide expert care in a busy medical environment. This contract role requires critical skills in patient monitoring and procedural support to ensure safe and effective care during interventional radiology procedures. Responsibilities: • Deliver nursing care within the Interventional Radiology (IR) department, ensuring patient safety throughout procedures. • Perform conscious sedation and continuously monitor patients during interventions. • Accurately document all procedural details and patient responses. • Collaborate with the Cardiac Cath Lab team and float between departments as needed to support patient care demands. • Participate in an on-call rotation covering nights, weekends, and holidays, remaining available to return to the department within 30 minutes of notification. • Adhere to emergency team protocols when called upon to support in critical situations on site. Qualifications/Desired Experience: • Current RN license with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; travelers with first-time assignments will not be accepted. • Certification in ACLS and BLS required. • Demonstrated competence in conscious sedation and patient monitoring in an IR setting. • Flexibility to work standard day shifts with variable hours to accommodate procedural needs. Schedule: • Day shifts, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts) • On-call duties typically two nights per week and every other weekend.
