IV Therapy Nurse, RN in Hartsville, SC

Participates in the assessment and care of clinic patients receiving IV medications. This involves a variety of tasks requiring judgment born of solid knowledge and expertise in general nursing theory and IV therapy. The duties include, but are not limited to: • Provides the required documentation for every visit. • Maintains a clean environment for IV therapy. • IV infusions will be administered using the 7 patient administration rights (right patient, right time, right route, right dose, right reason, right documentation) • Assists with prior authorizations as needed. • Interacts with patients and employees in a respectful manner consistent with the mission and values of CareSouth Carolina. • Works collaboratively with the care team, promoting a harmonious working environment. • Checks and responds to emails promptly. • Willingly assists with other duties as requested. • Education and Experience • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina • Minimum of an associate’s degree required • BLS certification required • 1+ years of RN experience required • IV Therapy/Infusion experience preferred • Med/Surg experience preferred Location Hartsville, SC (CareFusion) Hours 40 hours per week. Will work four 10-hour days per week.
