Key Responsibilities: • Monitor and assess patients throughout labor and delivery, tracking vital signs and fetal heart rates to ensure optimal safety. • Administer direct patient care, including medications, pain relief, and assistance with deliveries. • Educate patients and their families on the labor and delivery process, care options, and essential postpartum care. • Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth and positive birth experience. • Maintain accurate documentation of patient information throughout all stages of labor and delivery. • Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies or complications, following established protocols. • Ensure a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control guidelines and hospital standards. Qualifications: • Active New Mexico RN license (required). • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS. • Strong clinical expertise with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure. • Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
