Lead Nurse Inventory Manager
Reports to: Owner & GM
Full Time Position
Salary: $64,000 - $78,000

Supervisory Responsibility: The complete supervision of all inventory systems, projects, project teams, and any assigned staff, whether regular inventory employees or temporarily assisting with inventory tasks. In cooperation with the General Manager/Owner, the Lead Nurse also trains, coaches, and supports the nursing staff to ensure protocols and procedures are followed.
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring that the spa(s) have adequate medical supplies, vitamins, nutrients, and medications for daily IV therapy operations, as well as functioning as part of the management team. Communicates directly with the supervising physician, pharmaceutical representatives and pharmacy staff, and Hydrate Home Office support teams if applicable. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the cultural expectations of the company. This position also includes following all protocols and procedures of a Registered Nurse including administering IVs and injections, properly mixing IV bags, performing vital signs, etc. This position is also responsible for staffing off-site and on-site events. If no Registered Nurse is available to staff a scheduled event, the Lead RN is responsible for covering the event to ensure continuity of care and operational needs are met.
Essential Functions:
• Orders medical supplies, vitamins, nutrients, and medications.
• Inputs and tracks purchase orders.
• Regularly communicates with medical supply and pharmaceutical representatives.
• Purchasing office and other supplies as needed for daily operations and staff.
• Responsible for ordering retail supplies as needed.
• May support additional locations as needed.
• Transports supplies between locations whenever necessary.
• Conducts monthly cost analysis to ensure cost-effectiveness of purchases.
• Oversees weekly inventory counts across corporate stores.
• Oversees monthly comprehensive inventory counts on all assets (medical and retail) (EOM spreadsheets).
• Communicates monthly with owners regarding store assets, supply tracking, and waste (EOM spreadsheets).
• Educates staff members on new medications and supplies, including sending emails and explaining SOPs.
• Evaluates procedures to identify and improve efficiencies.
• Conducting day-to-day responsibilities such as seeing clients and performing services.
• Recognizing medical conditions, allergies, and/or medications that may be considered unsafe or warrant additional information and/or assessment from the supervising physician.
• Administering intravenous therapy and injections.
• Maintaining strict patient confidentiality in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Educate clients on all services the spa provides.
• Staff Events (off-site or in-spa)
• Managing patient records using the MINDBODY system or another EMR system.
• Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
• Attend and occasionally lead weekly management meetings.
• Perform any additional duties or responsibilities as assigned by owners.
• Must be honest and trust-worthy, with good Leadership skills (keeping employees motivated and on-task).
• Good time management with the ability to prioritize skills effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing with various audiences.
• Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail, PLUS proficiency with advanced programs such as Google Drive, Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Work, etc.
Additional Requirements:
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
• Must pass any and all required background checks
• Must have a valid Utah driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
Minimum Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing
• Must pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX)
• BLS certification
• 1 or more years’ retail, inventory, clinical or spa experience is highly preferred.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge and experience in IV therapy and vitamin injection protocols and offerings are highly preferred.
Working Conditions:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• PHYSICAL DEMANDS: May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (double with assistance).
