Position Overview:
The Lead Registered Nurse will play a crucial role in overseeing home health operations, guiding and managing a dedicated team of nurses and clinicians as they provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. This position requires a unique combination of clinical knowledge, leadership abilities, thorough patient assessments, and strong communication skills to ensure the highest standard of patient care and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff
• Conduct clinical assessments and coordinate patient care
• Ensure quality assurance, compliance, and prepare for emergency responses
• Maintain clear communication and accurate documentation
• Conduct training and educational programs for staff
Qualifications:
• Registered nurse (R.N.) with an active license in the practice state
• Current Basic Life Support Certification
• 2-3 years of nursing experience required; at least 1 year in home health or community health preferred. Leadership/supervisory experience is a plus.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHRs) and medical documentation systems
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel to client locations
Additional Information:
$40.00- $50.00 per hour + a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus!
