Job Description
As a Lead Registered Nurse (RN) in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses to achieve optimal outcomes. This is a 8-week assignment, and we are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team. **Responsibilities:**
As a Lead RN, you will be responsible for:
• Effectively using the nursing process to deliver patient care
• Assessing learning needs and implementing teaching strategies
• Communicating, delegating, and managing nursing team resources
• Using data to evaluate and promote change to achieve optimal outcomes
• Embracing concepts and behaviors that enhance customer satisfaction and employee morale
• Adapting behavior to the specific patient population
• *Qualifications:**
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• 1 year of experience as a registered nurse
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and certification in clinical specialty area
