Position Overview:

As a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide essential nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Your expertise will help enhance the quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver professional nursing care, demonstrating knowledge of nursing principles and practices relevant to the clinical setting.
• Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents by following care plans and administering medications or treatments as prescribed.
• Perform assessments, document care provided, and maintain accurate records of resident interactions and outcomes.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Participate in interdisciplinary care teams to optimize resident care quality.
• Counsel residents and their families on treatment and prevention plans.

Qualifications:
• Must be a graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and possess a valid LPN license.
• Preferred: Associate degree in practical nursing.
• If the position involves IV therapy, completion of an approved IV Therapy course is required.
• Experience with supervised clinical settings across the lifespan; minimum 400 hours of practice as an LPN will be considered.
• Maintain required competencies and certifications annually.
