Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN in Lake Quivira, KS

Lakeview Village is searching for caring, dedicated, and trustworthy Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team! Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community that offers sub-acute rehabilitation and long-term care, celebrating its 60th anniversary and 5th straight year as the U.S News & World Report Best Short Stay Rehab. 

Job Details:

• The primary role of the Licensed Practical Nurse at Lakeview Village is to promote the residents' well-being and satisfaction by supporting resident-centered care. The LPN performs nursing assessments, follows the plan of care in accordance with physician's plan of treatment, provides nursing services in accordance with current nursing practice, and evaluates resident’s response to treatment.

Shift: 

• 5 days/week, 2:00pm-10:30pm (IV certification not required)

 

Job Type: Full Time, PRN 

 

 

Pay: starting at $27.30/hour, commensurate with experience

Qualifications

Ideal Candidates will have the following qualifications and skills:

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse in the KS State Board of Nursing.
• Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• IV certification preferred.
• Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly.
• Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others.
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job.
