TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking a dependable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse - Med Surg to provide direct patient care in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit. The LPN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and contribute to patient assessments, treatments, and overall care coordination. Job Responsibilities • Provide basic nursing care including vital signs, medication administration, wound care, and documentation. • Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility. • Monitor patient status and report any changes to the RN or physician promptly. • Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes by preparing rooms and patient documentation. • Document nursing care and patient responses accurately in the medical record. • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated and safe patient care. • Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols at all times. Qualifications • Active LPN license in good standing. • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. • Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical-surgical or acute care setting preferred. • Current BLS certification required. • Strong clinical, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
