Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in providing professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care settings. Working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, you will utilize your nursing knowledge to ensure the comfort and safety of residents. You will:
• Contribute to resident assessments and administer medications or treatments as per orders
• Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in providing quality care
• Counsel residents and families regarding prevention and treatment plans
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Your work will be essential in delivering compassionate care while maintaining confidentiality and establishing effective relationships with residents and their families.

Qualifications
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with a Licensed Practical Nurse designation; an Associate degree is preferred
• If required, completion of a Board-approved IV therapy course or AASPN program is necessary
• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing board
• Experience in a similar setting is preferred
