Salary Range: $26.00 - $36.00
Pay Info: $10,000 Sign On Available
Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is crucial in delivering high-quality nursing care for our residents in long-term care facilities, under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. You will:
• Utilize your nursing knowledge and skills to assess residents' needs and provide appropriate care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while ensuring overall health and safety.
• Document interaction with residents and outcomes effectively.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to create a nurturing environment.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care plans and preventive measures.
• Engage in continuous learning to uphold certifications and competencies needed for excellence in care.
Qualifications
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; an Associate degree is preferred.
• If required, completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Must hold an unencumbered LPN license and maintain certifications.
• A minimum of 400 hours of LPN experience or supervised clinical training across a lifespan is necessary.
