Role Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering professional nursing care to residents in long-term care settings, under the guidance of registered nurses and physicians. You will utilize your nursing expertise to ensure the health and safety of our residents. Key Responsibilities: • Assess residents' health and comfort needs, administering medications and treatments as prescribed. • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and families, maintaining patient confidentiality. • Document patient interactions and outcomes related to care plans. • Educate residents and families about self-care and treatment options. • Respond effectively in emergency situations and provide appropriate support. Qualifications: • Graduated from an accredited practical nursing program; an Associate degree is preferred. • Current and unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board or multi-state licensure privileges. • Minimum of 400 hours of practical nursing experience preferred.
