• $5.00 p/h shift differential
• $2.50 p/h travel differential
• Weekend/night shift differentials
• Must have availability to work various shifts as per the center's needs

Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering professional nursing care to residents of all ages in long-term care, under the guidance of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. You will utilize your nursing knowledge and skills to meet the physical and psychosocial needs of residents according to their care plans.

Key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring residents' health, comfort, and safety.
• Contributing to resident assessments and administering prescribed medications/treatments.
• Providing support to healthcare professionals as needed.
• Documenting resident interactions and care-related outcomes.
• Establishing effective relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
• Counseling residents and families on prevention and treatment strategies.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
• Flexibility to assist at sister facilities (St. Vincent) as necessary.

Qualifications
• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program with an LPN designation; an Associate degree is preferred.
• If required, completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
• Experience of 400 hours as LPN in a prior facility may be necessary.
• Must maintain a current, unencumbered LPN license.
• Obtain and maintain department-specific competencies and certifications.
• Complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training for the facility.
