Licensed Registered Nurse (3+ years experience) in Faribault, MN

Mill City, a 92-unit assisted living and memory care community in Faribault, MN, is now hiring a Licensed Registered Nurse. JOB SUMMARY: This position will ensure the health care needs of all clients in a 93-unit assisted Living and memory care community in Faribault, MN. The Clinical Nurse, RN may assist with ensuring that staff is trained in assisted living procedures and policies which are current and up to date. The Clinical Nurse, RN will also ensure that Mill City Senior Living remains in compliance with current Assisted Living with Dementia Care License regulations. Working cooperatively with the Clinical Nurse supervisor and Assisted Living Director, supervising the delivery of services provided to the clients and supervising staff. QUALIFICATIONS: • Must be registered and licensed with the State of Minnesota as a RN and must maintain a current and unrestricted licensure. • Must have a valid driver’s license, if needed to drive. • At least 3 years’ experience in related field. • Enjoy working with older adults and possess the ability to multitask and manage time well, all while demonstrating high-quality customer service. OTHER SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: • Possess a sensitivity and aptitude for working with the elderly. • Possess skills to communicate effectively with those you supervise, clients, family members and Assisted Living Director. • Possess leadership / supervisory skills. • Must be able to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently. • On-call rotation which may include evenings, weekends and holidays ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND TASKS: • Manage the Assisted Living services that are provided including completing essential paperwork and complying with state regulations. • Supervision of other nursing and Unlicensed Personnel. • Provide support and address needs for programs and services. • Participate and function effectively as a team member. • Other duties as assigned.
