Job Summary of Licensed Vocational Nurse:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Licensed Vocational Nurse:
• Support CNAs in assisting residents with daily living activities and routine care.
• Administer treatments and medications following physician orders and care plans.
• Submit pharmacy requests and maintain accurate medical records.
• Monitor resident health and communicate changes to RNs, supervisors, and physicians.
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
• Provide basic care, including wound care, bandaging, and IV management.
• Monitor fluid and food intake/output and manage IV drips.
• Observe and report incidents, accidents, and skin issues.
• Assist with admissions and other nursing processes as required.
Qualifications and Experience of Licensed Vocational Nurse:
• Valid LPN license.
• New graduates and experienced LPNs are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication, organizational, and observational skills.
• Experience in long - term care preferred.
