HealthTrust Workforce Solutions Regional is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Wichita, Kansas. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Med Surg • Discipline: RN • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Local Contract • Number of Beds -36 • Number of Staff – 70 total • Type of staff: • Day Shift –7 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs, 1 Unit Clerk • Night Shift - 7 RNs, 3 Patient Care Techs • Patient Ratios – 1:6 - Estimated ratios, not guaranteed • Type of equipment –Kangaroo Pumps • EMR -Meditech • Typical Procedures: • Medication drips • Bubble studies • EEG Must Haves:- An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred- A recent 12 months of Tele RN experience in an acute inpatient hospital setting- KS RN License- BLS, ACLS, and NIH CertificationsPreferred or Nice to Have:- MediTech Experience- Travel Experience
