This position offers a stable, weekday schedule with no call responsibilities, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional patient care in a specialized setting. As an independent practitioner, you will manage an average of 10-16 cases daily, supporting adult and geriatric patients through monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for endoscopic procedures. Required Skills: Current valid CRNA certification and state licensure in Michigan Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience, with proficiency in MAC anesthesia for endoscopic procedures Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems Nice to Have Skills: Experience with EGD, colonoscopy, and biopsies procedures Prior experience in outpatient or ambulatory surgical settings Knowledge of sedation protocols for adult and geriatric populations Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s degree or higher in Nursing Anesthesia or related field Prior locum or temporary anesthesia coverage experience highly desirable Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Other Requirements: Credentialing timeframe estimated at 60-120 days Mileage reimbursement at the IRS standard rate Orientation provided at half the hourly rate The position run from January 2026 through summer 2026 Compensation at $187.60 per hour, with holiday pay at 1.5 times the hourly rate and conversion rate applicable Bring your expertise to a supportive team dedicated to ensuring the best outcomes for patients.
