Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in northern Indiana.
This autonomous position offers full clinical independence in a community hospital setting, weekday hours, and the stability of an ongoing contract with potential for permanent transition.
Assignment Details
• Location: Winamac, Indiana
• Start Date: January 21, 2026
• Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Call: Yes | 60-minute response time | Limited call-back frequency
• Coverage Model: Independent – Solo CRNA (no supervision)
• Duration: Ongoing assignment with option to extend or transition to permanent role
• Credentialing: 60–90 days | Temporary privileges available for clean files
• EMR: Medaxion
Case & Clinical Scope
• Case Mix: General Surgery, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, GYN, Podiatry, and Pain Management
• Regional Techniques: Must be proficient in spinals, epidurals, and ultrasound-guided nerve blocks
• Daily Volume: Manage the full anesthesia continuum independently
• OR Setup: Community ORs with modern equipment and dedicated surgical support staff
Candidate Requirements
• Licensure: Active & unrestricted Indiana CRNA license (enrollment in IN PCF required)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS through AHA (required)
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency with regional anesthesia and independent case management
• Caselogs: Must provide documentation verifying recent epidural and block experience
