Position Details: • Contract duration: 13 weeks • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 • Shift options: 6:45 AM 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM 7:15 AM • Weekend: Every other weekend and holidays • Float: Shift rotation may be required • On-call: None Responsibilities: • Deliver high-quality nursing care to elderly and dementia patients in a 30-bed extended care unit • Utilize Maxi Move and Sara Steady equipment for patient mobility assistance • Accurately document patient care using the PCC electronic medical record system • Maintain patient ratios of 1:15 during the day and 1:30 at night to ensure attentive care • Adhere to a clean and professional dress code consistent with facility policies Qualifications: • Valid WV State or Compact RN license with WV Cares certification • Minimum 2 years RN experience in long-term care settings, especially with elderly and dementia populations • Current BLS certification (AHA only) • Proficiency with Point Click Care (PCC) electronic medical records system • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team This contract is designed to fit well within an RNs career growth, offering meaningful patient interactions and a stable schedule.
