Job Description
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Valid RN license with a focus on Rehab and Med Surg nursing
• IV therapy experience is a must
• Preferred skills include wound care, stroke care, and traumatic brain injury (TBI) management
• Current BLS certification required

Location Overview:
Situated in Rochester, NH, this inpatient rehab unit provides care in a 19-bed setting with a 6:1 patient-to-staff ratio, ensuring personalized attention. The unit operates on the 3 West floor, equipped with advanced mechanical lifts, Baxter and Kangaroo pumps, and utilizes Meditech for electronic medical records. The facility supports a collaborative environment with skilled nursing staff and offers critical exposure to multiple care areas including CCU, Med Surg, and ER.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Deliver nursing care in the inpatient rehab setting in line with unit policies and procedures
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including RN colleagues and CNAs
• Manage patient care utilizing equipment such as mechanical lifts and infusion pumps
• Adhere to established infection control and care standards
• Participate in weekend and on-call rotations every other weekend
Schedule:
• Day and night shifts with staffing ratios aligned to patient census
• Rotation includes every other weekend coverage
Other Details:
• Dress code consists of plain-colored scrubs
• Floating to areas such as CCU, Med Surg, and ER may be required
