Key Responsibilities
• Act as charge nurse during shifts, overseeing unit operations and coordinating patient care.
• Administer medications and perform wound care according to care plans.
• Monitor residents’ health status and communicate changes to physicians on-call.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT as needed and social worker designee.
• Ensure residents receive safe, respectful, and high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Matrix EMR system.
• Uphold infection control, safety standards, and facility policies.

Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of LTC/SNF nursing experience.
• Active RN license in North Dakota.
• Required certification: BLS.

Education
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).

Knowledge & Skills
• Strong understanding of LTC/SNF nursing care standards.
• Skilled in medication administration, wound care, and patient assessment.
• Effective communication and leadership skills for charge nurse responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize care for multiple residents.
