LPN / RN Supervisor Job Summary of LPN / RN Supervisor: This role involves overseeing nursing operations during weekend shifts, ensuring quality resident care, and providing leadership to the nursing staff. Daily pay is available for this position. Job Duties and Responsibilities of LPN / RN Supervisor: • Ensure delivery of effective, outcome - focused nursing care using the nursing process. • Identify resident needs and provide input for discharge planning and follow - up throughout the length of stay. • Implement care plans consistently, efficiently, and with a focus on resident - centered outcomes. • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to communicate changes in care plans. • Provide optimal resident care and comfort, demonstrating knowledge of current nursing practices. • Supervise and coordinate Charge, Treatment, and CNA assignments and activities on assigned unit and shift. • Ensure timely communication of treatment and assessment information and efficient delivery of services. • Monitor and evaluate staff activities to ensure nursing care and treatments are administered according to plan and physician instructions. Qualifications and Experience of LPN / RN Supervisor: • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience. • Current license to practice as LPN or RN. • Previous experience in a nursing home leadership capacity preferred.
