Luxury Senior Living Communities In Coral Gables, Kendall & Homestead Is looking for RN/LPN (Night Shift) for its Palace Nursing Home & Rehab Center 11215 SW 84th Street Miami, FL 33173 Joint Commission Accredited, 2015 The #1 Priority of this position is… To care for ill, injured, disabled and convalescent persons by rendering general nursing care. Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, including IV meds, if certified. • Take temperature, pulse, blood pressure and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determine progress of residents. • Assemble and use such equipment as catheters, tracheotomy tubes and oxygen suppliers. • Evaluate residents’ needs, condition and care and assist in developing nursing care plan for individual residents. Qualifications • Current Florida LPN or RN license. • Experience in long-term care preferred. • Must possess good communications skills, both verbal and written in English. Spanish preferred. • Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations. • Basic math skills.
