Description MaineHealth Corporate Management/Leadership Req #: 64485 We are excited to welcome a Manager (RN) – Ambulatory Clinical Documentation Integrity (aCDI) to our growing ambulatory CDI team. In this newly created leadership role, you will guide a talented team (15+ RN Care Team Members) as you collaboratively drive meaningful impact across our high‑value, patient‑focused workflows. We are building a best‑practice program rooted in excellence, innovation, and a commitment to improving outcomes. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of risk adjustment and value‑based care methodology, solid knowledge of CMS regulations related to risk adjustment and billing, and exceptional communication skills. Certification in documentation integrity, risk‑adjusting coding, and familiarity with quality measures is strongly preferred. This is a full-time position based in our Westbrook, Maine office, with limited hybrid flexibility. Summary The ACDI Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating ambulatory clinical documentation improvement initiatives across the organization. This role ensures documentation accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and payer requirements. The manager supports system-level objectives, supervises ACDI staff, and collaborates with clinical and administrative teams to enhance data integrity and care quality. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs) • Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, master’s degree preferred • License/Certifications: RN, Certification in CDI or related field preferred (e.g., CCDS, CDIP) • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in clinical documentation improvement or related experience preferred, 3-5 years management experience with direct reports • Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
