Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and deliver exceptional nursing care for adult and occasional pediatric patients in medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, and swing bed settings.
• Apply the Nursing Process to make critical decisions that address patients’ physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs.
• Collaborate closely with the Unit Director, Clinical Nurse Lead, and Nursing Supervisor to maintain a supportive and efficient clinical environment.
• Utilize your expertise to lead bedside care with compassion and professionalism, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Minimum of three years of acute care experience; familiarity with Meditech is preferred.
• Current Vermont RN license or multi-state RN licensure.
• BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required prior to start.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced general Med/Surg environment with occasional pediatric patients (pediatric-only RNs not considered).

Schedule:
• Day shifts, starting midweek on Wednesdays.
• During orientation week, hours will be adjusted, with a 48-hour contract guaranteeing 36 hours due to the midweek start.
