Deliver critical care in a fast-paced emergency room setting as a registered nurse with specialized experience. This contract opportunity in Lawrence, KS offers a dynamic role supporting patients through urgent medical needs during overnight hours. Location: Lawrence, Kansas Lawrence is a vibrant city known for its rich history, welcoming community, and access to cultural and outdoor activities. Schedule: • Evening shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 36 hours per week • Weekend and holiday shifts as needed • One on-call shift per week Qualifications and Experience: • Registered Nurse with a valid Kansas or compact nursing license • 3+ years of Emergency Room experience; 5+ years preferred • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC • Experience in a large facility and ER environment highly preferred • Ability to work independently with rare floating duties Responsibilities: • Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care for diverse patient populations • Perform rapid assessments and coordinate urgent interventions • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to stabilize and treat patients • Maintain accurate and timely documentation • Respond effectively in high-stress situations, including on-call and holiday shifts This contract role offers the chance to contribute your expertise during crucial overnight hours while working within a supportive healthcare team.
