Responsibilities: • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical telemetry setting • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage patient telemetry needs • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements • Participate in training, assessments, and ongoing competency evaluations during orientation Qualifications: • Minimum of 18 months recent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry nursing • At least 18 months permanent experience in the specialty before travel assignment • Hold a current Ohio RN license or a license from a compact state • Valid certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required • Ability to work a 3x12-hour rotating shift schedule (day and night rotations) • Willingness to work at least every other holiday • Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments Schedule: • 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) • Rotating shift schedule may vary to meet operational needs This is a contract opportunity to contribute your clinical expertise in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
