Job Description
Provide expert nursing care in a scenic mountain setting, performing independent and delegated medical functions aligned with state nursing standards. This contract role requires comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care to support health and well-being. You will use your clinical expertise to deliver therapy, health teaching, and counseling, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care
• Collect and analyze health data to monitor patient status continuously
• Provide health education and counseling tailored to patient needs
• Administer therapies and treatments that restore and support life and well-being
• Execute medical functions delegated by licensed practitioners
• Facilitate timely referrals for further evaluation or treatment
• Document patient care accurately and comply with regulatory guidelines
• Utilize healthcare resources efficiently
• Adhere to organizational mission, vision, and service behavior standards
• May float to other departments within your competency as required
• Potential on-call responsibilities during scheduled shifts
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
• Ability to deliver patient-centered care and educate diverse populations
• Familiarity with healthcare documentation and regulatory compliance
