Key Responsibilities: • Independently coordinate and provide nursing care based on physician orders and established standards. • Perform thorough patient assessments, interpret diagnostic data, and develop nursing care plans. • Deliver care for patients with complex health needs, including emergent situations requiring sound judgment. • Administer medications and treatments safely according to protocols. • Delegate and supervise nursing assistants and technicians. • Educate patients and families to promote understanding and effective coping strategies. • Maintain clear, accurate documentation and participate in interdisciplinary collaboration. • Adhere to infection control measures and patient confidentiality standards. Qualifications & Experience: • Active, unrestricted Alaska RN license required at submission. • High school diploma or equivalent plus nursing education required to obtain licensure. • Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience preferred. • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification mandatory at hire. • Ability to work both day and night shifts and float across multiple specialties including Med/Surg, ED, and ICU. • Must obtain flu vaccination. • Two fingerprint cards required upon acceptance.
