Position Title: Med-Surg Oncology RN
Location: Tallahassee, Florida
Shifts Available:
• Days (Rotating Weekends): 7a-7p
• Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7p-7a
Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Oncology RN to join our team. The RN will provide care and treatment to adult patients in a patient-centered care model, making clinical assessments and managing treatments autonomously. This role is part of a collaborative team environment that emphasizes support, teamwork, and high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans.
• Act as a patient safety advocate.
• Ensure efficient use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout the patient stay.
Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience.
• Active Florida RN license or approved multistate/compact RN license
• Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida RN license after relocation.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred, required within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
